Vertex Pharmaceuticals’ Orphan Drug Kalydeco (Ivacaftor) And Patients Use Of Social Media

        The following show the using of social media by Cystic Fibrosis (CF) patients to help get Vertex Pharmaceuticals’ orphan drug Kalydeco (Ivacaftor) available to all who need it :

1) “Quest For Kalydeco” @QuestKalydeco on Twitter – “Aim to make Kalydeco available to all who need in UK & Ireland”

2) “Quest for Kalydeco” on Facebook – “Whilst We Breathe, We Hope, Join Us In Our Quest For Kalydeco (Ivacaftor) from Vertex Pharmaceuticals”

3) “Quest for Kalydeco” on YouTube – “Has been set up by people who have Cystic Fibrosis (CF) G551D …. Aim is to make ivacaftor/Kalydeco available to all with CF who need this groundbreaking new medicine in the UK & Ireland”

4) ePetition – “Kalydeco to be available via the NHS to all G551D Cystic Fibrosis sufferers in the UK” (petition closed September 8, 2012)

5) Kalydeco in Australia Campaign on Facebook
