Confirmed Judges For The Rare, Orphan Advocacy & Research Awards

The Rare & Orphan Advocacy & Research (ROAR) Awards are back for their 2nd year on 13 November in Brussels, in conjunction with the 5th annual World Orphan Drug Congress, 12-14 November, Brussels.

The 2014 ROAR Awards will recognize those who have done outstanding work in the field, honor those who have made significant contributions to the development of the sector, and celebrate the great achievements made in the world of orphan drugs in the last year.

The award categories are open for nominations until this Wednesday, 1 October 2014. After this, the shortlist will be sent to our judging panel.

The categories are:

•   Outstanding Contract Research Campaign
•   Outstanding Market Access Campaign
•   Outstanding Innovation Award
•   Outstanding Patient Advocacy Award
•   Inspirational Stakeholder of the Year
•   2014 European Leadership Award.

Nominate before 1 October @ to get your preferred organizations and people onto the shortlist.

The judging panel:

•   Dr Geoffrey W Guy, Chairman and Founder, GW Pharmaceuticals plc
•   Dr Anthony Hall, Co-Founder, Findacure Foundation
•   Hans Schikan, CEO, Prosensa
•   Ann-Teresa Cusenza, Medical Information Specialist, Managing Editor, Orphan Druganaut Blog
•   Dr Ségolène Aymé, Emeritus Research Director at INSERM, Project Leader of IRDiRC SUPPORT.
