2015 Genetics And Education Fellowship

For early career professionals interested in genetics education, research, curriculum, and professional development, and science education, the 2015 Genetics and Education Fellowship is available for application submission (deadline of April 24, 2015). The Fellowship is sponsored by three organizations:

•   The American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG)

•   The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI)

•   National Institutes of Health (NIH).

The purpose of the Fellowship is to help genetics professionals with advanced degrees transition to careers in education. The fellow will participate in genetics education program development at the NHGRI and the ASHG. Also, the fellow will have an opportunity to work with other organizations involved in genetics education.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Duration of Fellowship: 16 months

Start Date: August to early September

Compensation Package: Annual $72k stipend + benefits.
